Kim Molina updated her acting resume in 2019 by starring in her first lead role in the sexy romantic-comedy “Momol Nights” opposite Kit Thompson. Promoting the said movie, she was asked to explain the meaning of MOMOL and other dating slangs in a past episode of Tonight with Boy Abunda.
MOMOL means “Make Out, Make Out Lang” or in Kim’s definition, “’Yung halikan lang ba.” COCOL means “Coffee-Coffee Lang,” while HOHOL is “Hang Out, Hang Out Lang.” MOMOL that’s more intense is called MOMOX or “Make Out, Make Out Extreme.”
Kim explained that MOMOWL is the trickiest level, “’Yan po kasi ‘yung ‘pag napagdaanan n’yo na lahat ng ‘yan tapos nag-MOMOX na kayo, ‘yung isa po dun magkakaroon na ng MOMOWL which is very delikado dahil ‘yun po ay Make Out, Make Out With Love. It’s either pareho kayo or siya lang.”
Kim was also asked about her relationship with Jerald Napoles. At the time of this interview, the couple has been together for five years but Kim said they are not yet ready to settle down. They wanted to most of their acting careers.
“Hindi pa po. Pareho po kasi kami na we’re very goal-oriented and kumbaga, ito po muna, kasi hindi naman po everyday na mabibigyan ng opportunities like this for the both of us,” shared Kim.
