In 2018, Karla Estrada guested on TWBA to promote the film “Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad” which she starred in together with her son Daniel Padilla, Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda, and Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach.
Karla was given the chance to face Boy Abunda’s golden mirror and muse on the past and future. She gazed at her own reflection and described the woman she was seeing as a fighter.
Then, asked to give her 18-year-old self a piece of advice, the Magandang Buhay host touched on being careful with decisions. “Panindigan mo lagi ang magiging desisyon mo at lagi kang mag-iisip ng isandaang beses bago mo gawin ang isang bagay.”
Tito Boy then asked Karla to talk to herself as the Queen Mother. She paused for a second and said, “Fasten your seatbelt, Queen Mother at napakarami mo pang haharapin sa mga darating na taon at marami ka pang dapat gawin na pag-guide sa iyong mga anak, so be healthy.”
More importantly, she reminded herself to always seek God’s help in everything she does especially in raising her kids, “Pagtibayin pa ang faith sa Panginoon dahil ‘yun lang naman talaga ang makakatulong mo sa buhay.”
Karla played the annoying and hilarious neighbor Peppa/Barna in the 2018 film “Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad.” This 2021, she topbills the comedy movie “Momshies! Ang Soul Mo’y Akin” together with Magandang Buhay momshies Jolina Magdangal and Melai Cantiveros.
