It’s been almost four years since the onscreen team-up of James Reid and Nadine Lustre, or JaDine to their shippers, turned into a real romantic relationship. There is no doubt that James looks at Nadine as the woman he would like to spend the rest of his life with- the way the actor talks about his girlfriend would prove so. “No one understood me the way she did. She helped me in the darkest time of my life,” he revealed. James added that he doesn’t give Nadine any reason to feel jealous and he makes sure not to entertain ladies trying to flirt with him.
“I don’t know where I’d be now if she hadn’t come into my life,” the actor shared. James and Nadine rarely fight and they have learned to become comfortable with each other even in times of silence. This, according to James, is an important characteristic of a healthy relationship. “It’s good to be in a relationship where you feel safe and solid,” he added.
But, when asked about plans of getting married, James considers that he and Nadine are still full of ambitions to work on. Besides, he isn’t certain about wanting to raise children in the corrupt world we all live in. “I don’t know if I want to bring another life into the world, the way it is now,” said James.
The actor is set to be part of another groundbreaking teleserye alongside K-Pop idol Nancy Mcdonie of the popular girl group Momoland. The series, entitled “Soulmate,” will be shot in the Philippines and Korea.
