Marked as one of those rare TWBA moments, seasoned actor Dingdong Dantes appeared on the show to promote his film with Angelica Panganiban, “The Unmarried Wife” in 2016. And to celebrate his first ever TWBA hot seat experience, Dingdong gamely took on the Fast Talk Challenge.
The question “ano ang hidden talent mo?” kicked off the segment. Dingdong retorted with, “tumapik-tapik sa upuan kasi mahilig ako mag-drums noong grade 7 ako.” He said cold weather or temperature makes him feel uncomfortable. This makes taking an evening bath quite a struggle. He gets off the bed as early as seven in the morning even on days cleared from work obligations.
The loving daddy considers his daughter, Zia, as the funniest person on earth. If there’s one trait of his he wouldn’t like to pass on to Zia, it would be, “malakas umutot.” The hunk actor doesn’t mind making of fun of himself. He mentioned “mabaho kong paa” when asked about his biggest insecurity.
Dingdong compared her “The Unmarried Wife” leading lady Angelica Panganiban to a dove. The film serves as their third movie team-up and if ever there’d be a fourth one, Dingdong would like to call it “Sasamahan Kita sa Sagada Ulit,” an allusion to Angelica’s blockbuster indie movie “That Thing Called Tadhana. “
He thought of kaldereta when asked to liken his wife Marian Rivera to a viand. He thinks Marian’s sense of humor is the sexiest part of her body.
Asked to name one Kapamilya actor he admires, Dingdong mentioned Enrique Gil, who he got to work with in the 2013 romantic movie “She’s the One” alongside Bea Alonzo.
