Actress Devon Seron shared in a past episode of Tonight with Boy Abunda her struggles dealing with depression and how she survived that lowest point in her life.
Devon admitted to just hiding her pain. She opted to keep quiet, not wanting to see her family worried.
There came a point when her body couldn’t even function well.
The struggle led to suicidal thoughts. But the love for family also pushed her to fight and overcome her depressive state. She thought of what the future would be like if she remains depressed and decided that she doesn’t want things to end that way.
Prayer became her biggest weapon until she was finally able to recover. After that dark season, Devon has become a lot stronger and more at peace with herself.
Veteran host Boy Abunda commented that Devon’s story is worth sharing because it can save those who are also going through the same situation.
