Denise expressed gratitude for being included in the series FPJ's Ang Probinsyano in 2019. She loved everything about the show – the vibes, work ethics, and the workflow. She found the FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano set fun and thrilling.
“The reason why I’m so excited to be on the show is because action talaga ‘yung forte ko”, Denise confessed. The multi-talented actress revealed she got into doing mixed martial arts when she was young and an action-drama musical while she was still living abroad.
She only displayed her flair for action in television or movie scenes but she would not mind using her fighting skills to defend herself or someone else in need.
During the interview, Boy Abunda requested Denise to demonstrate her talent in martial arts in a duel with him. She declined, hesitant and scared to hurt Tito Boy for real.
Given her love for action, Denise is a seemingly perfect fit for the highly-coveted Darna role yet the actress is not up for the competition. “I admire the role of Darna but I think that would be untouchable for me”. Instead, she’d be more willing to don the character of Black Darna or the superheroine’s nemesis, Valentina.
The lovely guest was then asked for an impromptu audition. The snake headpiece suited her black dress and make-up well. She looked perfectly stunning. Then, playing with the cameras with fierce and piercing stares, Denise slayed with a superb delivery of Valentina’s black chant.
