Dawn Zulueta visited the Tonight With Boy Abunda studio on Tuesday, July 23 to talk about her beauty secrets, the future of CharDawn and her dream roles.
Having that spellbinding, timeless beauty, Dawn certainly leaves everyone in awe. Boy Abunda showed pictures of Dawn through the years and revealed that it helped that she gained weight slowly to fill and lift the lines on her face. As compared to men who have to lose weight as they grow older in order not to have saggy skin or a fuller belly, she said she needs to gain a few pounds to lift the skin and avoid it to sag.
Asked what life lesson she wants to share with her son, Jacobo, she shared that she always tells him that parents aren’t perfect and that there’s nothing wrong with giving multiple chances to people. The King Of Talk proceeded to ask questions from die hard fans of Dawn. One fan asked if she’d like to do a project with Kadenang Ginto’s Daniela Mondragon played by Dimples Romana. Dawn answered that she’d love to work with the actress and with the whole cast and crew of the hit teleserye.
When asked about which current loveteam should star in a remake of CharDawn’s “Hihintayin Kita Sa Langit,” Dawn answered that LizQuen (Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil) will give the story justice. Unfortunately, Dawn said that a CharDawn comeback is impossible as of now due to Richard Gomez’s hectic schedule as Ormoc City’s Mayor. But she clarified that there may be a chance for the loveteam’s comeback once a good project comes and Richard’s schedule clears.
Tito Boy showed a picture of how Dawn would look like thirty years from now using the famous Face App that shows you how you’d look like once you’re old. “We should be proud of the aging process,” she shared that one’s lines and wrinkles tell the stories of how we lived our lives. Surprisingly, she revealed that she has always wanted to be a superhero and said that she would’ve wanted to play Darna during her prime years. Additionally, she also wanted to be either an aswang, manananggal or tiktik once in her acting career. “Patayin Sa Sindak Si Barbara” is the only horror film she has ever done and shared that she‘d want to make more horror films in the future.
Finally, Dawn played TWBA’s “Kiss, Marry, Kill” but with a twist. Instead of opting to “kill,” she’d “collaborate” with one among three men in three separate batches. For the first batch of choices, she said she’ll kiss Vic Sotto, marry Piolo Pascual and collaborate with Richard Gomez. In the second batch, she chose to kiss Ian Veneracion, to marry Coco Martin and to collaborate with Jericho Rosales. On the batch with the youngest choices, Dawn chose to kiss Enrique Gil, to marry James Reid and to collaborate with Daniel Padilla.
