On other news, Darren Espanto opted not to give any statement on the cyber-libel case filed by his mother against fellow singer and former buddy, JK Labajo. The rift between the young artists started in 2018 when JK allegedly attacked Darren via Twitter. Darren admits that they haven’t seen each other for years and he thinks that their friendship is really over.
“I think hindi na talaga kasi, I mean, during The Voice Kids we we’re best friends and then, a lot of people started telling me things that he also started saying about me like after a few years na hindi kami nag-uusap. So, I don’t really know where that came from and why he started doing it but at the moment, ‘wag na lang din,” Darren’s honest confession.
