Versatile performers Darren Espanto and Jona continue the next leg of “The Aces” concert happening this October in Canada. Darren and Jona guarantee the audiences that they, as a “Pair of Aces”, would still manage to deliver sterling performances. The singing duo’s first stop is the city of Calgary where Darren’s family is based.
Darren and Jona give fans a preview of the upcoming music celebration by singing their own rendition of Moira dela Torre and Jason Hernandez’ “Ikaw at Ako”; Zendaya and Zac Efron’s “Rewrite the Stars”; and Ariana Grande and Nathan Skye’s “Almost is Never Enough”.
In the next part of the interview, Jona displays her quirky side by doing random poses based on different scenarios like what she often posts in her Instagram account. Jona says she loves creating witty captions out of her photos to tickle her followers’ funny bones.
Meanwhile, Darren appeals to fans who accuse singer Jayda Avanzado of riding along his fame. Darren pleads his supporters to stop the bashing and respect Jayda instead. He adds that Jayda, daughter of musicians Dingdong Avanzado and Jessa Zaragoza, belong to a decent family and they are good friends with them. Darren does not deny the possibility of courting Jayda in the future.
