Coco Martin is known for keeping his private life private. So, when he answered the Fast Talk questions and revealed the things (and people) he loves, everyone was thrilled with the rare moment. This would have to be the most viewed Fast Talk video on YouTube with more than 7 million counts as of August 2021.
Before we dive deeper into his heart, we got to know Coco’s likes and dislikes first. He prefers leather jacket (his trademark outfit in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano) over leather pants. He likes fishes than birds. He mentioned beauty, not brains.
If you wish to make his tummy happy, be sure to bring him bulalo as he likes it better than sinigang. Chocolates are also a good choice of gift for Coco. He always has one in his fridge.
Coco always keeps the golden rule in mind. He prays a lot, too. It must have been a busy season for him then, as he only got to sleep for four hours the longest.
He has many times proven his versatility as an actor. He can do drama, action, and comedy. We’ve seen him cross-dress as Paloma in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano and in his 2019 MFFF entry “3pol Trobol Huli Ka Balbon.” According to Coco, gay roles are more difficult to pull off than action scenes.
The King of Philippine TV wishes to share a movie project with Angel Locsin. He would like to be friends, even best friends, with John Lloyd Cruz. If there’s someone he would like to take on a date, it would have to be Julia Montes. She’s also the same person he would like to say ‘I love you’ to. When asked who he thinks between Paloma and Julia is the girlfriend material, of course, he picked the latter.
There were also questions about his co-stars in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. He failed to choose the more handsome guy between his character Cardo Dalisay and his little sidekick Onyok. And when asked to pick the prettier girl between Carmen (Bela Padilla) and Glen (Maja Salvador), he played it safe by going for Paloma instead.
The matinee idol owns more than ten pets. He definitely has more than ten friends as well. He might be known for his tough onscreen personas but in real life, Coco is scared of death.
He wishes to visit Batanes with the family and perhaps build his second home there. Coco displayed signs of humility when he said he would like to go back to Canada where he used to work as an OFW.
