Tonight with Boy Abunda welcomed two of the stars of Precious Hearts Romances Presents Los Bastardos. The King of Talk sat down with Albie Casiño and Joshua Colet to talk about their teleserye with veteran actor Ronaldo Valdez and to discuss the importance of “Bro Code” between friends.
Joshua shared his beginnings in the showbiz industry and revealed that he’s the son of known actor Noel Colet. The hunky actor also shared that he had been doing commercials since his childhood years and had been trained in theatre acting. When asked about his first impressions on his Los Bastardos co-stars, Joshua answered one-word descriptions for each of his on-screen half-brothers: Jake Cuenca (Angas); Marco Gumabao (Confident) Diego Loyzaga (Bad Boy); and Albie Casiño (Straightforward). When Albie, in turn, got asked about his first impression on Joshua, he told Tito Boy that he looked pretty mysterious coming into the set with long hair and riding a motorbike.
Albie then shared his Top 5 ‘Bro Codes’, naming some rules he stands by in keeping his friendships intact. Bro Code #1 states that you can’t mess with your best friend’s girlfriend; #2 and #3 state that you can’t invade another man’s life by either minding his sexual orientation or what he does in his relationships; #4 gives importance to your friend’s younger brother, and treating them like your own as well; and lastly, #5 states that you always have to make sure your friend gets home safely, whether or not you will be taking them home. Overall, the ‘Bro Code’ is a code of respect and duty to one’s friend.
