In an interview with Boy Abunda for TWBA, Enchong Dee and Victor Anastacio talk about their upcoming film, Elise. The movie narrates the story of Elise herself, played by Janine Gutierrez and her first love, Gian played by Enchong Dee. Victor plays the role of Brent, Gian’s best friend.
Enchong has made the film sound more interesting by saying that it talks about how first love is always someone’s most beautiful hurt. He says that more often not, someone does not end up with his/her first love and that makes it painfully beautiful.
Enchong and his leading lady, Janine share some intimate scenes in the film. Tito Boy asks Enchong if these created a gap between him and Janine’s boyfriend, Rayver Cruz, who also happens to be one of Enchong’s closest friends.
In a serious tone and facial expression, Enchong declares that he and Janine did not tell Rayver about their intimate scenes as they thought it would just be alright. “Nalaman ni Rayver, so nagkaroon kami ng lamat [sa pagkakaibigan],” Enchong continues.
At this point, the King of Talk is getting more interested and serious about the topic. His seriousness faded away when Enchong said, “So, kung ganoon lang din naman, hindi ko na lang din babayaran utang ko sa kanya.” Everyone in the studio laughed at Enchong’s humor.
Kidding aside, Enchong shares he and Rayver are like brothers; and they did not encounter any problem while he and Janine are filming “Elise.” Besides, Rayver knows how to set aside personal life from work. He also adds that Rayver trusts him and their friendship.
