Accompanied with his captivating guitar-playing skills, former Idol Philippines hopeful Dan Ombao sang a few lines from his original composition titled “Muling Maramdaman.” How did he weave that hugot song? Dan said that love redeemed him from a dark phase in his life. There was a time when he felt lost in his career and he stopped making music to help in his parents’ business. But after a few years, Dan met the girl who inspired him to go back to his passion.  

“Na-meet ko yung girlfriend ko. Sa Japan siya nakatira, so LDR kami. Tinry ko ulit magsulat ng song for her para sabihin sa kanya ‘yung mga nararamdaman ko,” he shared. And the result of his longing was a beautiful piece that he recently recorded for Star Music.

Indeed, blessings are pouring down on the charming singer. Apart from his growing musical career, Dan is also looking forward to becoming a first-time dad next month. He and his partner are already preparing for the big event.

To mark his first TWBA hot seat interview, Dan took on the Fast Talk Challenge. As a songwriter, Dan picked lyrics over music. He thinks his voice is the asset that makes him sexy. “The Last Time” is the song he would use to describe his love life.
