She was only 15 years old when we first caught glimpse of her unmistakable beauty as she entered the local entertainment scene through her unforgettable appearance in the teen-oriented series K2BU. And now, Bea Alonzo has undeniably turned out to become one of the most celebrated actresses of her generation and one of the most admired personalities in the country.
Growing up under the limelight, we have witnessed how she bloomed into becoming one of the most beautiful faces we all adore. It’s indeed rare for us to see her childhood photos, but we’re fortunate enough to be able to unearth some and collated them in this gallery!
In an interview with Jeepney TV’s Showbiz Pa More last year, she revealed that she used to be the kind of girl who seemingly always wanted to be in front of the camera and was fond of imagining herself as part of the classic youth-oriented program Ang TV. She revealed looking up to then-child star Camille Prats and how she already knew by then that she wanted to be an actress.

She might be wearing one of the most deific and most mesmerizing faces we’ve ever laid our eyes on, yet little did we know that she still has her fair share of insecurities, which she bravely disclosed during her guesting in Tonight With Boy Abunda last year together with her “Eerie” co-star Ms. Charo Santos-Concio.
As the King of Talk asked her about the story behind the first-ever bikini photo of her that she posted on Instagram, she told him that it actually took her a while before she finally made up her mind to share it.
“Siguro mga 100 times ko tinanong ‘yong brother ko, ‘Maganda ba? Maganda ba?’ and I thought, ‘Oh my God, ‘di pa pala ako free sa pakiramdam na ito? Akala ko at my age nakalaya na ako do’n sa insecurities na ‘yon. And then naisip ko, process nga pala ito,” she divulged.
Then she went on to convey how that simple post empowered her and inspired her to motivate other women regarding “body positivity”
“You have to constantly remind yourself na you are beautiful, na you are enough. And so naisip ko, siguro dapat i-post ko ‘to to remind people that they are enough, that they are beautiful no matter kung anong itsura ng katawan nila. Kahit medyo mataba ka, payat ka, you are beautiful so nae-empower ako do’n sa post na ‘yon. Sana na-inspire ang mga tao,” she stated.
