Not long after the last series she starred in – Asintado – concluded on October 5 of last year, top-caliber Kapamilya actress Julia Montes took her well-deserved vacation by flying to Germany to spend some time with her biological father Martin Schnittka, who she only seldom saw in the previous years after their first-ever meeting in 2016.
While many of us have probably thought that she would only be there for a month or two, we were in for a surprise as she’s been already there for more or less a year already. But within that span, she didn’t fail to update her fans and followers about her goings-on by uploading a few photos or videos on Instagram sometimes, or at least any random post.

So probably, all ears were surely on our TVs as the King of Talk sincerely answered the question of an avid viewer sent in via Instagram during the September 26 episode of Tonight With Boy Abunda. User @vickyspacio5132 asked: “Dearest Tito Boy, I just wish to hear anything about Miss Julia Montes…I respect her privacy, but sana lang we hear anything about her…”, to which he responded by imparting what her former Doble Kara co-star and real-life close friend Mylene Dizon divulged during the latter’s interview with the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
Based on the article, the veteran actress related that they still chat on Viber, through which Julia sought her advice “about how to best cook her chicken” or “which exercise she should do”. As to when her friend is going to come back in the country, Mylene shared that the last message she received from her said, “Malapit na, ‘Nay. Uwi na ako.”
Now that we’re certain of Julia’s much-awaited comeback in the country real soon, we may while way the time looking back to her not-so old photographs we collated in this gallery.
