Tonight with Boy Abunda presents a special episode in celebration of the one and only King of Talk’s birthday! Instead of the usual interview by the beloved host, Boy Abunda is to be interviewed by one of the networks most iconic celebrities and TV hosts, Vice Ganda.
In this episode, we get to know more about Tito Boy and his off-screen relationships, his industry secrets and why he deems himself as a harsh critique.
Having been in the industry for more than two decades, Boy Abunda has become one of the most iconic talk show hosts in Philippine television with an array of programs attached to his name—such as The Buzz, Homeboy and The Bottomline. In his many years in the network, the King of Talk has interviewed most—if not all—the familiar faces in the showbiz world and has brought forth all the controversial issues surrounding our favorite Kapamilya stars. Tonight, he takes the hot seat as Vice asks daring and intriguing questions to the beloved TWBA host.
One of which dares him to reveal if there was an instance in his career when he felt like walking out of an interview.
Tito Boy names three stars who he admits to have been uncomfortable pursuing an interview with. First is Vhong Navarro when he was interviewed after he had been attacked and beaten up in 2014 in a condominium unit in Fort Bonifacio. The host admits that it was hard seeing him in his state and almost didn’t push through with it. Second, he names KC Concepcion and his controversial interview with her on The Buzz; adding that it took several hours for the actress to make up her mind on whether or not to continue their interview. And lastly, he names his emotional interview with Claudine Barretto upon the passing of actor Rico Yan.
