Blessed with porcelain skin and a pretty face, Pinoy Big Brother Otso teen housemate Kaori Oisuna has a delicate aura. Yet, she is tough on the inside. Her strength is polished by all the battles she has gone through in life.
The Kawaii Daughter was born in Japan where she stayed until she’s four years old. Then, she and her family moved to the Philippines. She stayed in the country for nine years until they moved back to Japan when she was thirteen.
Kaori had a difficult time during her early high school years. Having stayed in the Philippines for almost a decade, she still had a lot to learn about the Japanese language. She was not fluent in Japanese of which made communicating more challenging. She barely had friends to talk to, thus, spent most of her time alone.
Kaori was determined to master the Japanese language, and when she finally did, she has gained more friends. She has even become more active in school, joining the varsity team for basketball.
Growing up in the care of her single mom, Kaori had to start working as a caregiver at the age of 16 to help in providing financial support for the entire family.
