Even before they have become companions at the Camp Star Hunt, Gian Wang and Missy Quino’s fate have already been intertwined. Unknown to them, Gian’s grandfather and Missy’s Dad are acquaintances and they have already seen each other in Cebu which they both hai from.
After trying their luck in the Star Hunt in Manila, Gian and Missy had to go back home in Cebu and wait for the results of their auditions. Later on, they both attended an acquaintance party where they bagged the Mr. and Ms. Head Turner award amidst the sea of 2,000 students. “Suplado” was Missy’s first impression of Gian, who revealed having a hazy vision that time; hence, his failure to recognize Missy’s face.
But when they finally get to know each other, Missy learned that Gian’s personality was far from her assumption of him. She discovered that Gian is caring and a kind-hearted person.
In their TWBA guesting, Gian and Missy confessed their feelings for one another. Gian’s answer was a straightforward “Yes” when asked if he likes Missy. The blushing young lady, in return, thanked Gian for admiring her despite her imperfections. In a bashful and almost inaudible voice, Missy replied, “Opo”, when asked whether Gian has a chance in her heart.
“No matter where life takes you, you will always have someone other than your family. I’m here behind you and I’ll be one of your biggest supporters”, Gian promises Missy.
“Showbiz is not an easy thing to get into but I will constantly remind you about the people who really love you, so you won’t lose yourself in the process”, Missy tells Gian.
Yet, both at 17, Gian and Missy do not want to rush things. “It will come in the right time”, Missy said.
Gian failed to make it inside the Pinoy Big Brother house but he is content with the time he spent at the Camp Star Hunt where he met friends who come close to family. Missy, on the other hand, was almost a few steps away from the Big Four but she surprisingly opted for a voluntary exit.
According to Missy herself, she felt that the other teen housemates were more deserving to become a Big Winner than she was at that time. “Mas marami po silang pinagdaanan”, Missy said referring to her friends in the house. More so, she had no idea that people outside the house were also rooting for her, including Boy Abunda himself.
