As far as the public knows, Sam Milby started in the industry as a commercial model before joining the pioneer batch of Pinoy Big Brother and eventually entering showbiz as an actor. Taking us to earlier times, Sam revealed he used to work as a crew for a famous fast food chain. Working there for half a year was a humbling and great learning experience, though he gained 20 lbs. in that span of time out of eating their burgers daily.
He used to figure skate as a child. Sam started during his toddler years and he continued his trainings until middle school. The Kapamilya actor said he’s still got the skills!
Video editing is another item on his long list of talents, though he still considers himself as a beginner. But he enjoys it a lot and he likes to pursue this artistic skill in the long run. The handsome hunk is also an entrepreneur. He used to own a restaurant and a coffee shop.
Does he have a twin? “I do! I have an Irish twin,” he exclaimed. Sam is referring to sister Ada who’s just ten months younger than him. According to Sam, an Irish twin is a pair of siblings born less than a year apart.
Sam reveals that he gets to send Hollywood audition tapes once in a while. But the showbiz commitments in the Philippines remain as his priority.
When thinking of Sam’s famous lines, it is easy to recall his “I never said that I love you” dialogue in the iconic Kapamilya series Maging Sino Ka Man (2006).” Add to that his famous “Ayoko” expression during his stint inside the PBB house. “Noong time na ‘yun, I think binilang nila kung ilang beses ko sinabi ‘yung “ayoko” sa isang araw. It just become an expression kasi kakaunti lang ‘yung alam kong Tagalog,” he related.
He denied dating Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa, his leading lady in one of his music videos. “Friends kami pero hindi kami nag-uusap,” he said when asked if he remains friends with his exes.
