Tonight with Boy Abunda welcomes mother-son tandem, Bacoor Mayor and actress Lani Mercado-Revilla and her eldest son, Bryan Revilla. The Revilla pair shares about their personal family lives—including Bryan on finding love, Lani on being a so-called “martyr”, and how their family coped with Bong’s absence due to his detainment.
The King of Talk opens the show by showing some throwback photos of Lani back when she was only 14 years old. The beautiful actress shares about her life then, and how it revolved around her home, school and work. As they go through some of her iconic poses back in the day, Bryan comments that his mother looked very beautiful. Lani also shares that she met Bong when she was only 14 and how he had started courting her at 16. Tito Boy then asks Bryan on why he had moved out of his parents’ house despite being single still to which the actor replies that it isn’t a good look for a man in his 30s to be living with his parents.
Lani also opens up on her reaction to Bong’s infidelity and how it had brought his son, Luigi, into the world. She reveals how being a martyr simply means having to fight for one’s family and letting her love for them weigh more than the bad things that has happened. Meanwhile, Bryan reveals his search for a lifelong partner and shares about his new film, “Tres.” The mother and son also do the Fast Talk Challenge, revealing some interesting trivia—including the personalities of Lani’s children and Bryan’s true relationship with actress Erich Gonzales.
