Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo first took on the TWBA hot seat in 2017, together with her on-screen partner, John Lloyd Cruz. The duo gamely answered fans’ questions about random things. When asked how they envision their future weddings, both artists said they haven’t spent much time thinking about it yet. But one thing was for sure, Sarah wanted a Christian wedding.
Then, John Lloyd added, “Tingin ko it’s gonna be so random. Pero, siyempre kailangan mo pa rin isipin. Of course, hindi lang naman ikaw ang ikakasal, especially ‘pag sa babae sobrang big deal ang wedding. Malamang malaking part n’on desisyon ng girl.”
Despite the busy schedule, Sarah always made time for then boyfriend, Matteo Guidicelli. Her favorite way to relax is by pigging out. And among the younger gentlemen in the industry, Sarah picked Joshua Garcia as the next artist she would like to work with.
If he would audition in The Voice of the Philippines, John Lloyd would sing Jeff Buckley’s “Last Goodbye” as his audition piece. And he would pick Sarah as his coach. But Sarah voiced out a slight protest, saying John Lloyd mentioned Bamboo’s name before they went on air.
The pair treated fans and viewers with a duet of Jeff Buckley’s “Lover, You should’ve Come Over”. John Lloyd thought Sarah’s voice was apt to give the song a different flavour.
John Lloyd addressed the issue of early retirement to which he explained, “Kanya-kanya tayo ng konsepto ng retirement. Sa akin, retirement na ‘yung you can really choose kung ano ‘yung gagawin mo. Somehow, curating your choices.” At that time, the actor was certain that he is in totally in love with doing films.
