Boy Abunda welcomes “First Love” star Bea Alonzo on TWBA on October 15 (Monday).
The blockbuster actress takes the TWBA hot seat to talk about her upcoming birthday, her s relationship status revelation at the ABS-CBN Ball 2018 and her new film where she stars alongside Aga Muhlach.
Tito Boy opens the show by greeting the actress a Happy Birthday, which she would be celebrating on October 17th. When asked about being granted by God a single wish for her special day, Bea wisely answers that she be given wisdom and the grace of being content. The actress goes to explain the contentment in life is the key to happiness. Although it is human nature to want more after every achievement or accomplishment, Bea notes that it’s important to be grateful and content at some point—which is her main goal in life.
Afterwards, Bea shares one of her passion projects and how she recently got into baking. The actress admits that it was very intimidating for her at the beginning, which is one of the reasons why she had put it off for so long. The actress also shares that it’s part of her bucket list to do things that are intimidating or challenges her to which Tito Boy responds by saying that doing things outside your comfort zone is usually where the magic happens.
On talks of her new movie, Bea narrates the story of how she found out about the project—admitting that it’s her dream project, considering she’s a big fan of Aga and admits to have watched all his films. The lovely actress tells how she thought she might never have the chance to work with him as he seemed to be semi-retired in recent years. But after receiving the call from the actor himself, Bea is simply overjoyed and said yes to the movie offer without delay. She also shares a little bit about the film and how she plays a girl with a heart illness. She meets Nick, Aga’s character, and falls in love. She also reveals a lesson to be learned from the film of how people sometimes wish the worse for others to be able to achieve what is best for themselves.
