Two years after the last time we saw him on the big screen through his cameo appearance on the 2016 Star Cinema movie “Love Me Tomorrow” top-billed by Piolo Pascual, Coleen Garcia, and his former flame Dawn Zulueta, celebrated actor Richard Gomez is now back to thrill and inspire us with another heartwarming film. Richard stars in “Three Words to Forever,” which he headlines alongside his past reel-to-real partner Sharon Cuneta and this generation’s Queen Of Hearts Kathryn Bernardo.
Thus, he paid a visit to the King of Talk recently to not only discuss and promote his latest project, but to share about his demanding yet fulfilling life as a supportive husband to Leyte 4th District Representative Lucy Torres-Gomez, a doting dad to their unica hija Juliana Gomez, and a dutiful mayor to the people of Ormoc City, Leyte.
By simply listening to their conversation, we could reap a lot of realizations, learnings, and inspiration that we could ingrain in our minds and even apply in our lives as well. He shared learnings from their two-decade marriage and how he has grown more romantic as time went by and how they’re able to balance their time given that they are both politicians and hands-on parents.
The 52-year-old actor-politician also recalled how his past romance with the Megastar fared and how their relationship changed over the years in and out of show business.
Furthermore, he also debunked the issue alleging him as one of the main reasons why Pinoy Big Brother Lucky Season 7 alumnus Marco Gallo, who was linked to his daughter, chose to leave his promising career in the Philippines and went back to Italy a few months ago, by disclosing that he was also shocked upon knowing the news.
He may appear as a strict dad, but Richard is actually lenient when it came to Marco’s courtship of Juliana. He said he even warmly welcomed him whenever Juliana invites Marco over to their home.
The interview concluded with Juliana exposing the five things we probably don’t know about his father in the “5 in 45” segment. Just watch the video above to find them out for yourselves!
