Rockers like Teddy Corpuz are born in the stigma of being snobbish, hard to deal with, and maangas. But when JK Labajo, the voice behind the hit song ‘Buwan’, sweared in front of the crowd amidst his performance for a music festival, people began to express their views on how the 18-year-old singer has showed bad influence to his fans especially the young ones.
Teddy was also asked his opinion regarding rock stars and performers who curse on stage. During one of his previous interviews, Teddy said that rockers, in general, do not appear cool when swearing. This supposedly unmalicious comment has been tagged by fans to the incident involving JK. Things become quite complicated when JK admittedly felt offended after assuming that Teddy’s remark was intended specifically for him.
The lead vocalist of Rocksteddy and lead star of the film "Papa Pogi" clarifies that he and JK have ironed things out. Teddy initiated communication with JK and asked sorry knowing that he hurt the young singer’s feelings and he even gave JK pieces of advice relating to career and handling various scenarios on stage. JK was enlightened by Teddy’s words and immediately deleted all his other posts written with offensive content. Teddy, in return, praises JK for his talent and wisdom quite impressive for a young man like him.
