Tonight, the actor sits on the TWBA hot seat to talk about his newest film, First Love, starring alongside Bea Alonzo and looks back at his many movie hits while also reveals interesting facts about his previous leading ladies.
Having been in the showbiz industry for several decades, Aga has been part of many television programs and films that became part of many Filipino’s lives and inspired many actors and actresses of today. Through the years, Aga has accumulated various awards and blockbuster hits to his name.
With his collection of movies, the King of Talk asks Aga about his leading ladies and who among them fits the characteristics he’s about to tell. Aga admits that Aiko Melendez is his most jealous leading lady; that Lea Salonga is the one he’s closest with; that Regine Velasquez and Bea Alonzo share his sense of humor; and that he deems Sharon Cuneta, Vilma Santos and Claudine Barretto as the most skillful actresses he worked with.
On talks of his family life, Tito Boy opens up a hypothetical question if he’s ready for his daughter, Atasha, to have a boyfriend after stalking the young girl’s account and seeing a boy recurring in her posts. Aga jokingly says that he’s ready for when that time comes and that he’s already checked the boy out—finding out that they’re just friends. Aga showcases his protective side when he tells the story of how he talked to boys lurking around his daughter and expresses that it’s normal for him to be protective as he doesn’t want his daughter to get heartbroken in the end.
