‘He’s the best dad.’ Jimuel, ibinahagi kung paano siya pinalaki nina Manny at Jinkee.

Jimuel Pacquiao often gets asked how it feels to be the son of boxing legend, Manny Pacquiao. To answer the question, Jimuel says he is blessed to be part of his family and adds that Manny is the best father anyone could wish for. Proving that he is one lucky son, Jimuel received a brand new sports car from his Dad as a graduation gift. But despite the public attention and riches, the Pacquiao family remains humble and disciplined. Jimuel reveals that he experienced the Pinoy punishment, “palo sa puwit”. His mom, Jinkee Pacquiao is the more disciplinarian but also the more compassionate one, while Manny is more laidback in handling his kids. They also keep the Visaya dialect within the household.

Among Manny’s three sons, Jimuel is the one following his footsteps as a boxer. And he is showing promising performances inside the ring. The young Pacquiao now has one knockout win under his belt. He says hard work and consistent trainings are the secrets to victory. However, Jimuel had a difficult time winning his parents’ approval at first, especially his mom, but he still kept on practicing until they eventually gave him the go signal to pursue a boxing career.

Apart from his boxing matches, Jimuel also anticipates a Hollywood project which is still under negotiations as of the moment.

Jimuel gets honest about his controversial split-up with Kapamilya actress Heaven Peralejo. He reveals that they broke up twice- the first one being tough and full of anger towards each other. Little by little, they managed to soothe the negative emotions and gave their relationship another try. Unfortunately, the second chance still led them to a breakup, though they were able to sustain their friendship. Jimuel is now romantically linked with another Kapamilya star, Barbie Imperial who, he insists, is just a good friend.

On the TWBA Fast Talk Challenge, the celebrity son names Ivana Alawi as the sexiest woman in the Philippines. He thinks he’s equally good-looking as James Reid and he finds himself sexy.
