Do you want another reason to think that John Prats is just pure goals?
After more than a decade of experience in the industry as an actor, he has finally reached a point where he is ready to take up roles behind the camera. As a director, his work includes the music video for Moira dela Torre’s “Malaya” which features close friends Sam Milby and Angelica Panganiban. This was also the project that prompted John and Sam to start their own production company called Bright Bulb.
Recently, however, the headlines were about him and wife Isabel Oli’s second child gender-reveal. The video was uploaded on the couple’s YouTube channel as the first episode of a vlog series entitled We Are The Pratties.
So, with one beautiful daughter plus a baby boy on the way and a busy career, how can John stay in touch with his family?
We’ve seen his Instagram posts which are filled with photos of him and Feather. From falling asleep together to hanging out at the beach, this father and daughter are practically inseparable. And on Tonight with Boy Abunda, John gave us a little more detail about his life off set.
“Liv kasi is very malambing, and ako rin ganoon,” he mused. It’s natural for them to keep the spark alive because they would often surprise each other with spontaneous dates after work. It’s particularly important for John save time for Isabel because he feels thankful, “Nakita ko kasi kung gaano siya kabuting ina.”
When asked if he is either a better father or husband, the actor-director had a perfect response, “I’m doing my best to be the best for them.” He further shared that his joy right now is to be with his family. He doesn’t want to miss a single moment, especially with Feather growing up so fast.
