For the past three years, Tonight with Boy Abunda has offered insightful, revealing facts about our favorite celebrities. And during the course of the late night talk show’s ferreting out the truth from these popular artists, candidly fun moments are bound to happen!
In celebration of the third successful year of our show, let us look back at the three funniest moments in TWBA that made us crack up.
1. Melai’s PBB throwback
First in our list is when Melai Cantiveros shared about what really happened during her Pinoy Big Brother audition, including her interview with ABS-CBN TV production head, PBB top honcho and director Laurenti Dyogi and how shocked she was learning she was among the chosen few to enter the PBB House. It was truly hilarious how Melai managed to blurt out a very rare answer to Direk Lauren’s question.
This moment was from her interview when she became part of Star Hunt as a host. On that same episode, she talked about her most memorable experiences inside the PBB House. This includes her first impression about her now husband Jason Francisco, and her moment with her first crush Paul Jake Castillo. She also shared a lot of things about her present life with Jason and their two daughters, and as one of the most beloved celebrities in the industry.
2. “Fast Talk” with Roxanne
Next is the show’s “Fast Talk” with Roxanne Barcelo. Answering the craziest questions like, ‘Kung ikaw ay gamit sa bedroom, ano ka?’, ‘Does size matter?’, and ‘What is the best time for sex?’, Roxanne definitely gave us the wittiest responses!
Her appearance on the show was in line with her successful stint on the revenge drama Wildflower. In that interview, Roxanne also talked about her previous relationship with ex-boyfriend Will Devaughn and the hardships she went through when she almost quit showbiz.
3. Kissing on Halik
Finally, one of the funniest moments on the third year of TWBA was when the Halik leading ladies Yen Santos and Yam Concepcion described the way their leading men Jericho Rosales and Sam Milby kissed them in their teleserye.
This moment was before Halik premiered. In that interview, Yen and Yam gave some facts about their experience on the set of Halik. They also shared the things they have in common, and answered personal questions about what kind of women they are when it comes into a real-life relationship.
As TWBA approaches its fourth year, more unexpected hilarious moments in our interviews are sure to come!
