Till I Met You is definitely a groundbreaking teleserye as it showed many firsts on primetime television. Aside from tackling issues the LGBT community experience through the character of Ali (JC Santos), the show also proved that married life isn’t just “happily ever after” by showing the sad realities that many couples like Basti (James Reid) and Iris (Nadine Lustre) go through. The primetime series also became a huge break for many actors, and before it ends this Friday night, let us list down the 5 breakout stars that we all learned to love and hate.
1. Kim Molina as Kelly

The award-winning singer and theater actress known for playing Aileen in the hit musical “Rak of Aegis” portrays the role of Kelly, the hopeless romantic and funny best friend of Iris since high school. She always lights up a room with her bubbly personality and brings joy with her antics. She also works for The Love Team, the wedding planning company of Basti and Iris.
2. Enzo Pineda as Stephen

After moving to ABS-CBN last year, the newest Kapamilya was introduced as an addition to the primetime series and he was chosen to play the role of Stephen, a race car driver and the son of a general. He was introduced to Ali by Greggy (Robert Seña), hoping to straighten Ali's sexuality. However, after spending time together, Stephen admitted that he is also gay and he eventually developed a romantic relationship with Ali.
3. Loren Burgos as Madison

The former beauty queen and Star Magic Angels member was cast as Madison, the third wheel to the love story of Iris and Basti. She immediately became one of the most hated characters in the primetime series. Madison, also known as MDV, is the owner and publisher of a famous wedding magazine who crossed paths with Basti during a wedding. She also served as Iris' mentor to attract more important clients for The Love Team. As an accomplice of Val (Angel Aquino), she tried to destroy Basti and Iris' relationship by seducing him and winning his heart.
4. Cedrick Juan as Otap

After performing for the stage for several years, this theater actor was given the opportunity to also shine on screen when he was given the role of Otap, the assistant of Basti and an employee of The Love Team. He is also the love interest of Kelly in the series. He accidentally informed Cass (Carmina Villaroel) that Basti and Iris were planning to move out of her home.
5. JC Santos as Ali

Without a doubt, this thespian and multi-talented performer is considered as one of the biggest breakout stars of 2016. After playing supporting roles in several films and Kapamilya shows, he was given his biggest break to date when he was chosen to play the coveted role of Ali, the best friend of Iris who also developed feelings for Basti. He is the only child of Greggy and Agnes (Pokwang) who grew up denying his sexuality because of his strict father, a military general. When he finally admitted that he was gay, he tried to find love and dated several men. After a series of heartaches and heartbreaks, he finally found happiness when he and Stephen officially became a couple.
