The Voice Teens Philippines Season 2 aired its pilot episode on Saturday, February 8, with coaches Apl.de.ap, Bamboo, and Lea Salonga successfully finding their first team members, respectively.
Matt Reyes, a 16-year-old from Las Piñas City and sang the song, “Weak.” Reyes is a three-chair turner as Sarah G. turned first and followed by Apl.de.ap. It was Bamboo who turned last.
To help convince the young Matt, Coach Apl called in his former team members--Thor Dulay and Daryl Ong. Both tried to persuade Matt and the young singer eventually chose Coach Apl.

16-year-old Bacolod lass Ysa Jison performed the song “Isa Pang Araw” as her blind audition piece. Coach Bamboo turned first and then Sarah G. Both battled over Jison, but the former emerged victorious as he got the lass into his fold.

A Cebuano also tried his luck. CK Arcelo, a 16-year-old from Lilo-an, Cebu sang “Having You Near Me.” Unfortunately, none of the four coaches turned. All of them agreed that the lad has potentials, but it isn't just the right time for him to get through yet. Coach Lea met with CK's dad after the feedback session.

Coach Lea finally found her first team member for FamiLea, in the person of Pia Banga, a 14-year-old from Davao. Pia sang “The Power of Love” and technically a four-chair turner. However, Coach Sarah couldn't pursue convincing Pia since Coach Apl blocked her. Pia then chose Lea to be her coach.
