Each coach got their respective new members in Day 7 of The Voice Teens Season 2 Blind Auditions last February 29.
Chermin Zxiane 'CZ' Baylosis, 16, who sang “Halik sa Hangin,” automatically went to Team Apl.de.ap after the rapper-record producer was the only coach who turned for the Zamboanga teen. CZ showcased her rapping skills during her performance. Apl remarked, "CZ, palagay ko 'di ako magsisisi."
The episode also served as a great comeback for 13-year-old Kate Campo from Angono, Rizal. Kate is a returnee from the Second Season of The Voice Kids (2015) and was part of Kamp Kawayan under Coach Bamboo. At the time, she only reached the Battle Rounds.
For her Blind Audition in The Voice Teens this year, she sang “Pusong Ligaw.” Both Coaches Lea Salonga and Sarah Geronimo turned at the same time for her, and Apl.de.ap turned last. Eventually, she chose Sarah to be her coach.
The 17-year-old lad Klynn Pineda from Baguio City, meanwhile, performed “How Would You Feel.” Only coach Lea turned for the young and charming male artist, who became the newest member of FamiLea.
Klynn shared that Bamboo, John Meyer, and Ed Sheeran are just some of his idols. His reason for joining The Voice Teens Season 2 was to inspire young artists to become songwriters like him.
Russel Solis’ rendition of the upbeat song “Dito sa Puso Ko” moved Geronimo to turn for the 16-year-old Baguio City native. It was in a nick of time when Sarah pushed the red button and took Russel in as part of her team.
Sarah explained why she had to turn for him, "Nakaka-miss ‘yang ganyang klaseng boses na simple, na solid na solid, at alam nating marami pang puwedeng gawin."
