Day Five of The Voice Teens Season 2 last Saturday, February 22 was coach Lea Salonga's birthday.
During this episode of the blind auditions, three more young artists were added to coaches Bamboo, Lea, and apl.de.ap's teams, respectively.
For FamiLea, it was a great day since she welcomed her newest member, the 14-year-old professional theater artist, Erika Peralejo, from Imus, Cavite.
Erika appeared in musicals like “Snow White and the Seven Dwarves,” “Annie the Musical,” and “Matilda The Musical.” She sang the song “Pahiram ng Isang Kanta,” a song from Katy the Musical.
Coaches Bamboo and apl.de.ap battled over 17-year-old Jelo Acosta's nod. The young guy performed Shanto Dope's hit song “Nadarang.” Though Bamboo was the first one to turn for Jelo, the latter still chose apl.de.op.
Bamboo had his newest find, the 17-year-old Ceray Olaco, a proud LGBTQIA+ community. Olaco was a four-chair-turner, but after hearing Bamboo's persuasion, she chose the rock icon coach. For him, she is unique, she has the swag, the look, and the potential of making an album.
Lastly, the 14-year-old fisherman's son from Batangas, Andrei Lunar sang “Kahit Isang Saglit,” but still failed to convince any of the four choices to turn for him.
