In the past six years, The Voice of the Philippines has undeniably turned out to become one of the most well-loved reality singing competitions that ever hit local television. Arguably, our weekends would not be complete without watching it as we anticipate the sure-fire performances of the contestants, as well as the insightful comments and delighting reactions of the coaches.
Through the years, the program has indeed never failed to enthrall us with the exceptional talents of our kababayans from different walks of life and parts of the world. At the same time, it has amused us with the hilarious banters and awesome gimmicks of the mentors just to win the favour of the contestant they’re eyeing to be part of their respective teams. While it has provided us with sheer entertainment, it also didn’t fall short in touching our hearts through the rousing moments of the judges and contestants, to which the on-going The Voice Kids Season 4 isn’t exempted.
Certainly, not being able to make the mentors turn for them in spite of exerting their best in the performance is truly painful for every kid, especially if they’re also going through rough times. Thus, coaches Sarah Geronimo, Lea Salonga, and Bamboo Mañalac never miss to give each of them words of encouragement, note-worthy comments, and important reminders that they could use once they decided to join in the competition again, or even in other contests, next time.
Aside from that, the three mentors never hesitated, as well, to approach the crying kids, as they tried to console them by patting them on the shoulder or back, wiping off their tears, and/or giving them warm embraces. This is after they imparted what inspired them to try their luck in the competition or to simply showcase their wonderful vocal prowess during the interview portion of the Blind Auditions.
As The Voice Kids Season 4 approaches the much-awaited Live Finale this coming weekend, let’s take a look on some of the most tear-jerking and heart-warming moments we’ve witnessed in the early parts of the show by watching this video.
