Young artist Ysabelle Cruz shows off singing, comedic talents via livestreaming

Her parents may not always be around to take care and cheer for her, but young artist Ysabelle Cruz has her ever-supportive and doting grandma, who she fondly calls “Mommy-Lola,” by her side at all times support and look after her in everything she does, such as in auditioning for The Voice Kids Season 5.

The 10-year-old belter from Bacoor City, Cavite learned how to sing at a really young age. According to her, she started by humming, which presumably piqued the interest of her family. Thus, her Mommy-Lola thought of enrolling her to voice lessons when she was 5. But that didn’t push through as she decided to just postpone it when Ysabelle could already speak well.

In order for her to further improve her singing and other talents, Mommy-Lola Rosalie Deocariza imparted that they actually gifted Ysabelle her own music room at their garage.

With upbeat songs as her forte, she chose Maymay Entrata’s “Amakabogera” as her audition piece, which instantly wowed the three coaches. It was Coach Martin Nievera who was the first one to turn his red chair, followed by Coach KZ Tandingan. Before they’re able to give their verdicts, Ysabelle taught them the dance steps, including Coach Bamboo who we only seldom see dance on camera. In the end, she chose to be part of the Concert King’s “MarTeam.”

In her The Voice Kids DigiTV interview, Ysabelle divulged that aside from further honing her singing and dancing skills, she also keeps herself busy with livestreaming, through which she’s able to showcase her comedic flair as well.

Show your support to Ysabelle and the other young artists of The Voice Kids Season 5 by not missing an episode every Saturday and Sunday night, on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, and TV5.
