Tin-Tin Marty shares Coach Bamboo’s reminders to her during Battles rehearsals

After making all the three coaches spin for her through her enthralling rendition of Sarah Geronimo’s “Isa Pang Araw” during the Blind Auditions of The Voice Kids Season 5, Tin-Tin Marty once again captured our hearts, especially Coach Bamboo in the recent Battle Rounds.

The “Piggy Pet Lover” wasn’t able to contain her emotions after OPM Rock Royalty declared that it was her who he chose to move forward to the Sing-offs. Apparently, her powerful and versatile vocals stood out the most during her and her Kamp Kawayan mates Francheska Nora and Kathryn Tenorio’s performance of the upbeat version of “When I Met You” by the APO Hiking Society.

In her latest appearance in The Voice Kids DigiTV, Tin-Tin disclosed that they initially had a hard time refining the new arrangement of the classic love song, but their coach was able to fix it eventually. He also reminded them that although it was a “battle,” it didn’t mean that they would be rivals since it’s just going to be the showdown of their voices. Besides, it was really okay whoever would be chosen among them and encouraged those who were not to never lose hope and join again next time.

When asked for her message for Kathryn and Fracheska, she wasn’t able to keep herself from getting emotional as she expressed how she misses them so much.

During the Battles, she recounted how really nervous and, at the same time, excited the three of them were before they stepped on the stage. They agreed that whoever wins, they wouldn’t feel bad and they would maintain the friendship that they have.

With regards to the tips Coach Bamboo imparted to her during the rehearsals, Tin-Tin told hosts Jeremy G and Elha Nympha that he reminded her not to apply much vibrato so that her voice would be pleasing to the ears. She went on to relate, “Si Coach Bamboo po kasi, ang bait niya pong coach and madali po akong matuto sa kanya.

She also greeted Elha who was celebrating her birthday that day and conveyed her wishes for her. Besides, she accepted the host’s challenge for her to say “happy birthday” in the longest time that she could – with matching vocalization.
