For more than two decades of being in showbiz, Bianca Gonzalez-Intal has gone to become one of the most sought-after, seasoned hosts of her generation. We’ve constantly seen her in various television shows of ABS-CBN since the early 2000s, and eventually get into vlogging and podcast in the recent years. And this 2023, she’s about to take on a different role as the newest host of The Voice Kids Season 5.
But before that, let’s look back first on some of her most remarkable hosting gigs through the years in this Kapamilya Spotlight feature.
Prior to entering the entertainment scene, she used to be the face of various brands and magazines as a commercial model in her teenage years
In an exclusive interview for a beauty brand that she endorses in 2015, it was revealed that her ticket to the industry was being a commercial model for a hair care product when she was 17, which opened a lot of doors for her and changed her life forever.
She initially dreams of working behind the scenes as a writer and director, but then she was offered hosting gigs for a Cinema One program and Y Speak, a youth-oriented debate show that discusses national issues. According to her, it was her most memorable stint that time since its format and the opportunity to work alongside Ryan Agoncillo and Karen Davila had challenged her to always step up, believe in herself, and think on her toes.

Bianca then became one of the reporters of the comedic news program Wazzup Wazzup and hosts of the youth-oriented morning show Breakfast, which were both broadcast on Studio 23. She was then moved to the mother network to co-host Magandang Umaga Pilipinas and reality dance show StarDance: Search for the Dance Idols in 2005.
However, it was her notable and triumphant stint in Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition 1, wherein she finished as the 3rd Big Placer, that catapulted her to immense stardom and paved the way for her to get major breaks. She eventually became one of its host since then, starting off with PBB Teen Edition UpLate in 2006. On that same year, she was tapped to be one of the hosts, a.k.a. resident campus VJs, of Pinoy Dream Academy Season 1.
She was then tapped to be one of the pioneer hosts of the showbiz-oriented talk show Entertainment Live in 2007, as well as the primetime entertainment news program SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon in 2009.

Aside from being a perpetual host of PBB and its spin-offs for around 16 years, Bianca is also the presenter for other programs under ABS-CBN, such as CinemaOne News Alert: Weekend Edition and the morning news and current affairs program Umagang Kay Ganda.
In 2022, she was hailed as the main host of PBB Kumunity Season 10, and was joined by fellow alumni Kim Chiu, Robi Domingo, Melai Cantiveros, and Enchong Dee. Besides, she also hosts TalkED: Early Childhood Series, the online educational talk show of Knowledge Channel that is streamed on its official Facebook page and FYE Channel on Kumu, and the entertainment news program CinemaNews.
Aside from her hosting gigs on TV and online programs, she also has a YouTube channel named “iamsuperbianca,” in which she uploads episodes on love, career, and life in general, as well as runs a podcast with the same title as her self-help book “Paano Ba ‘To?” initially published in 2014.
Catch Bianca on her newest role as the host of The Voice Kids Season 5 beginning on February 25 and 26, on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, and TV5.
