Did you know that apart from being an effective actor, JC de Vera also got the chops for dancing? And this talent was his first ‘da moves’, literally, to impress his crush, Maja Salvador. In an interview on Showbiz Pa More, JC was asked about his thoughts on working with Maja in the Kapamilya primetime series The Legal Wife.

He revealed that he had a crush on her and the Kapamilya actress was aware of it, hence, the shared television project was a dream come true. “Sinabi ko sa kanya, ‘Alam mo crush kita dati’,” he admitted.

But even before working together on The Legal Wife, JC and Maja had the chance to share the dance floor for her concert. “Mayroon siyang ginawang dance concert before sa Zirkoh. Pero matagal na ‘yun nasa kabilang network pa ako, tapos kinontact nila ako para mag-guest sa concert na ‘yun,” recalled JC.

Of course, he didn’t let the golden opportunity pass, “I said yes. Sabi ko, ‘Bakit hindi? Siyempre marunong naman ako sumayaw. Sabayan kita. Crush kita, eh.’ Siyempre magpapakitang-gilas ako,” he confessed.

JC simply laughed off the request to show his sample dance moves. But maybe next time, we’ll see him showcase that talent again.
