As Emma and Elias, Janella Salvador and Joshua Garcia will be teaming up to tell the story of The Killer Bride. This is their first time working together, so we wanted to further test their chemistry with the Lights, Camera, Act It Challenge! Together, they will be reenacting classic scenes from the biggest teleseryes and movies.
First off is a scene from the 2006 series “Maging Sino Ka Man” between Sam Milby and It’s Showtime host Anne Curtis. “I just realized, hindi na ako dapat nagpaloko sa’yo. Kasi kung talagang gusto mo ako, kung talagang mayroon akong space dyan sa puso mo, hindi naman mahirap para ako ang piliin mo,” was her line that can easily strike a chord in anyone. But his only response was, “I never said that I love you”. As expected, Joshua and Janella live up to expectations.
The second round is Toni Gonzaga and Piolo Pascual’s “Starting Over Again”. It was this 2014 romantic movie that gave us the line, “I deserve an explanation”. Joshua’s act was perfect, until he slipped towards the end of his lines. “English ‘yon,” he tried to explain his mistake.
Of course, this challenge would include Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz’s “One More Chance”. The 2007 hit holds one of the most iconic scenes in Philippine movie history that can make anyone who watches it get emotional. “She loved me at my worst. You had me at my best.” The young stars were clearly proud of themselves after successfully reenacting this.
