Think you already know Joshua Garcia? You might be surprised to discover which of your assumptions are true and which are false. To help settle the score, the official Instagram account of ABS-CBN posted a story asking for your expectations and beliefs about Joshua. Now, he is ready to give his reactions!
He admits to being shy but clarified that it is not specific to girls. Generally, he feels pressured to continue conversations because he is an introvert. “Hindi ako nakakatagal. Kailangan mas madaldal ‘yung kausap ko,” he explained. This is also why he prefers staying in over going out.
In the comfort of his home, he can do whatever he wants, “kasi siyempre nasa bahay ako.” There, one of his favorite pastimes is playing video games. It is no secret that he is addicted to gaming. In fact, his computer is even situated right next to his bed. But why does he play so much? Apparently, he is on vacation mode whenever he is playing, “para akong nasa beach ‘pag naglalaro ako.” Hopefully, however, he would get to experience a real vacation.
As for his career, the young actor revealed that he does not mind being compared to other artists, especially with veterans. Rather than feel bad, he considers it a blessing. “At least nakikita nila ko doon sa actor na ‘yun. Masaya naman ako doon,” he stated. Joshua does want to establish his own identity, but he also knows that everyone is entitled to their own opinion which is why he picks his battles.
Differences in opinion are unavoidable, so he chooses to be smart when dealing with conflicts. “For example, wala namang sense ‘yung papatulan mo parang pinapakita mo na rin na wala kang sense o parang wala kang pinag-aralan,” he described. A fight is worth it if it can be resolved with genuine talks.
