Thoughts about Camila (Maja Salvador) and the feelings of guilt keep on troubling Vito (Geoff Eigenman)’s mind. He is too bothered that he even fails to show apathy to his daughter, Luna (Alexa Ilacad) who arrives home with wounds after the heart-stopping encounter with Manoy Andres (Soliman Cruz) in the mental hospital. In the previous episode, Luna and Emma (Janella Salvador) were almost killed by a mysterious man who turned out as Manoy Andres acting mad due to a drug substance injected by the ‘killer bride’ (Mara Lopez).
Vito visits his secret room every now and then, thinking of the possibility that Camila is still alive based on Luna’s narrative about her encounter with Camila in the Dela Cuesta mansion. But, he tries hard to kill his hope. He convinces himself that his greatest love is already dead and that Luna’s experience was nothing but just a lucid dream. Vito decides to figure out the puzzling chain of events in Las Espadas which he believes are works of Fabio (Miko Raval) and Emma (Janella Salvador).
Fabio reports at the Dela Cuesta mansion determined to make Vito pay. Previously, Manoy Andres confessed that Vito is the villain but it turned out that the poor man was simply manipulated by Agnes or the ‘killer bride.’
However, Vito has apparently moved ahead than Fabio. Vito pretends having trouble with his car in the middle of the road and asks help from Fabio. As part of the put-up job, Vito’s accomplice hits Fabio until the latter becomes unconscious.
Fabio wakes up and finds himself in an unfamiliar place with his body roped in a chair. Fabio denies Vito’s allegations that he works with several allies including Emma. Hearing threatening words about his daughter pushes Fabio to his limits. He musters all the strength that he could and tries to fight it out against Vito, screaming out words of warning. Fabio vows to slay Vito once Emma gets hurt again.
Vito denies his involvement in Emma’s abduction. He demands Fabio to speak up, dying to know whether Fabio’s motive concerns Camila.
Fabio completely loses his cool, saying Vito does not hold any right to even mention Camila’s name. Fabio rubs in how Vito betrayed Camila in the past.
The scene gets more intense when Vito starts beating up a defenseless Fabio. Despite the inability to fight back, Fabio displays dauntlessness.
Meanwhile, Emma receives a message from an anonymous informant telling her Fabio’s whereabouts. The content is written as though trying to suggest that Vito is provoking her to come and save Fabio. But, surprisingly, the tip came from Luciano (Cris Villanueva).
Meanwhile, inside the hideout, Camila grows deeply worried of Fabio. True enough, Camila receives a call from Emma and learns about Fabio’s situation. She decides to rescue Fabio all by herself.
