The Dela Cuesta family attends the burial of Benjamin, Luna (Alexa Ilacad)’s friend who died after the attack of the ‘killer bride.’ Fabio (Miko Raval) assists Antonia (Jobelle Salvador) going home and urges her to take a rest, seeing that the woman is acting hysterical. Antonia seems deeply troubled and in sorrowed. Nevertheless, Fabio sits down with Antonia and listens to her sentiments; in hopes to chance upon a vital lead as well.
The revelations start to happen as Antonia cries and expresses the mixed emotions she has felt at the cemetery a while ago. Benjamin’s death reminds Antonia of losing her son, Javier (Dominic Ochoa).
According to Antonia’s narrative, on that fateful day, she saw Javier using Vito (Geoff Eigenman)’s phone to send Camila (Maja Salvador) a message. It can be recalled that while waiting for her groom, Camila received a text message from Vito’s mobile number, asking her to come at the abandoned building where the tragic ‘killer bride’ incident happened.
Antonia caught Javier taking a gun with him. At first, she thought of stopping Javier in whatever he was planning to do, but she realized that perhaps Javier would only attempt to thwart Camila and Vito’s wedding. Antonia gave in to Javier’s actions. Besides, she wanted to get rid of Camila as well.
However, the scheme backfired. Javier died instead of Camila; and the latter has been the suspect in everyone’s eye.
Vito, who’s secretly listening at Antonia’s story, comes out and confronts his mother. Remorse is evident in Vito’s tone, condemning Antonia for not speaking up all these time. Vito says Camila’s innocence could have been more believable if only Antonia disclosed the truth earlier.
Antonia returns the blame to Vito for bringing in Camila into their world; sounding as though Camila is a curse to the Dela Cuesta family and the entire Las Espadas. Antonia vows to never forgive Vito for Javier’s death.
Fabio intently watches the scene between Antonia and Vito. His face is seen with hints of jealousy seeing how Vito reacted to Antonia’s revelation. Fabio senses that Vito has never stopped loving Camila.
After the heated argument with his mother, Vito dashes off to his secret room and frees his feelings of anger and remorse. Vito goes completely mad and shoves the materials posted on a board. But, realizing what he just did,
Vito picks up his photos with Camila and gets frustrated when he failed to find an important photograph.
Unknown to Vito, the picture he’s looking for is already with Fabio.
Tessa (Loren Burgos) is crying in silence while secretly watching Vito still mourning over his great love’s tragic death.
