An argument happens between Camila (Maja Salvador) and Emma (Janella Salvador) after the latter’s change of heart. The fall out makes Emma completely upset and pushes her to run away with Elias (Joshua Garcia) to Buena Tierra. Emma’s decision makes Camila more furious over Elias. Moreover, Emma’s troubled mind and heart forces Fabio (Miko Raval) to cut his business trip abroad and come home.
Camila acts surprised with Fabio’s sudden homecoming while Emma displays genuine happiness seeing her Dad again. Fabio asks Emma about her trip to Buena Tierra. Emma trembles in fear as she looks at Camila, and tells lies by saying she was with a former classmate and she simply wanted to join the festival. But, she knew Camila would disapprove; hence, her decision to leave without asking permission. Fabio calmly buys Emma’s narrative, and even asks Camila to be more lenient.
That night, Fabio checks on Emma in her room and gives her comfort. He invites Emma to come with him abroad for a vacation. Emma wants to but her faith and support for Camila still wins over. Emma decides to stay with Camila, despite the fear and frustrations.
Emma goes back to Las Espadas to continue her mission. She stares at Camila’s photo and talks with Manay Ichu (Malou de Guzman) about the possibility of changing for the worse. She is curious on whether a good person can suddenly turn cold and evil.
Assuming that Emma is referring to Camila, Manay Ichu narrates her good memories with Camila. Manay Ichu has known Camila as a kind-hearted woman who served others with respect and love despite receiving nothing in return. Camila has always been treated badly by the dela Torres especially Tatiana (Ariella Arida) yet Camila remained considerate.
While still looking at Camila’s image, Emma cries as she vows to not give up until Camila gets what she wants and deserves. Emma looks forward to the day when Camila would embrace kindness back and finally attains true happiness.
Meanwhile, Camila cries out in aguish as she recalls her tragic love story with Vito (Geoff Eigenman). She gets more mad seeing how the past seems to begin bouncing back at Emma and Elias.
