Caught up by the situation, Tatiana (Ariella Arida) is left without a choice but to break her silence on her connection with Justino, the blackmail involving Juan Felipe (James Blanco), and her attempt to use Emma (Janella Salvador) as a lure. Tatiana begins her narrative by saying she was raped by Justino at the age of seventeen, on her first Ladies Society Ball appearance. She kept mum about the incident in her desire to protect her beloved brother, Juan Felipe’s reputation.
Tatiana cries out all the pain she kept on hiding as well as her resentment towards her family for making her feel alone and unappreciated. Alice (Lara Quigaman) confronts Juan Felipe, which results to a brawl between the latter and Luciano (Cris Villanueva).
That night, Alice attempts to drive Juan Felipe away. She can no longer bear her husband’s selfishness and malevolence but her boldness only results to an evening of violence. Juan Felipe beats up Alice, as he always does.
Emma hears Alice’s cry for help and Juan Felipe’s threatening voice. She dauntlessly opens the door to the husband and wife’s room and catches Alice crying at a corner, begging Juan Felipe to stop. Emma bravely meddles with the commotion and comforts Alice but only to become Juan Felipe’s target this time. Emma bows her head down as she receives Juan Felipe’s powerful slap on her face. Then, she slowly composes herself and acts possessed by Camila’s (Maja Salvador) soul.
Speaking as though she is Camila, Emma fights back against Juan Felipe by showering him with warnings and accusations. She threatens to expose his attempt to murder her at San Lucas de Oro and his abusive behavior towards Alice.
Juan Felipe may not be scared but Emma continued putting on her mask. As soon as Juan Felipe walks out of the room, Emma acts dizzy and shock upon recovering from the fake paranormal episode. She runs to Alice and gives her comfort.
