Horror spreads around Las Espadas as the ‘killer bride’ appears and chases random people in the streets. The ‘killer bride’ stabs Luna (Alexa Ilacad)’s friend, Benjamin, who fails to survive after getting rushed to the nearest hospital.
Meanwhile, on that same night, Camila (Maja Salvador), dressed in a ‘killer bride’ costume, attacks Ivan. Camila raises her hands in an attempt to stab Ivan but the other ‘killer bride’ distracts her. Camila and the first ‘killer bride’ clash in a knife fight. Camila gets the lead. The other ‘killer bride’ begs for his life, telling Camila that he is Juan Felipe (James Blanco)’s accomplice.
To continue using the ‘killer bride’ as a diversionary tactic, Juan Felipe calls for a press conference and announces the implementation of curfew hours all over Las Espadas. According to the ordinance, the residents are no longer allowed to roam around the streets not later than eight in the evening unless he or she is a member of the volunteer groups. The townsmen have varying opinions.
The ordinance results to a chaos on its first night of implementation. Juan Felipe’s men copy their Mayor’s ruthlessness by beating up those who fail to follow the new rules and arresting even those who are plainly making a living.
Juan Felipe faces off with Police Chief Officer Dela Cuesta who threatens him of carrying over the issue to the higher office. Juan Felipe remains dauntless despite the warnings. Officer Dela Cuesta leaves as Luis (Sam Concepcion) comes in to talk to Juan Felipe. Seeing the effects of the curfew, Luis condemns his father’s decision. But, instead of backing off, Juan Felipe pisses off Luis even more.
In a related scene, Camila calls Ivan and urges him to conspire with her in putting Juan Felipe’s abuse of powers to a halt. Camila asks Ivan to let her know something that might be used for Juan Felipe’s destruction. Despite not knowing the identity of the person on the other line, Ivan accepts Camila’s deal due to his concern for Juan Felipe’s welfare.
