Elias (Joshua Garcia) arrives at Dako Pa Roon and talks with Manay Ichu (Malou de Guzman) concerning Emma (Janella Salvador)’s disappearance. He goes straight inside and finds his friends at the lobby; looking terrified and asking him to run away. Uncertainty stiffens Elias. To his horror, Juan Felipe (James Blanco) comes out, pointing a gun at him.
Juan Felipe uses Manay Ichu’s phone to contact Emma, knowing that the latter won’t be able to resist those dear to her. Emma picks up the call and hears Juan Felipe’s threatening words on the other line, as well as Elias’ voice begging her not to come. But, later, Emma arrives and dauntlessly faces Juan Felipe.
Elias senses that Emma is taking out a syringe from her pouch. He kicks Juan Felipe’s security who is about to derail Emma’s act of defense.
Emma takes advantage of the quick distraction to inject Juan Felipe the syringe, apparently, containing a substance that can cause hallucinating effects similar to a Belladonna plant. Emma runs away from a dazed Juan Felipe while Elias and the hostages untie one another’s hands and knock down the Mayor’s bodyguards.
As Juan Felipe searches for Emma, he chances upon Camila (Maja Salvador)’s old photograph at the altar. Confusion and fear are evident in his reaction but his emotions escalate even more when he sees Ivan (Angelo Patrimonio)’s ghost, pointing the blame at him.
Emma punches Juan Felipe and escapes. She runs into Elias who embraces her and leads her out of the house.
Meanwhile, Fabio (Miko Raval) enters the scene and handles Juan Felipe.
In a flashback sequence, it is revealed that Emma sought for Camila’s help. They contacted a doctor who provided them with the substance injected to Juan Felipe; while Fabio spied outside Dako Pa Roon.
