Fabio (Miko Raval) falls to a gruesome death under Alice (Lara Quigaman)’s hands. Camila (Maja Salvador) and Emma (Janella Salvador) drown in anguish upon seeing Fabio’s corpse with the name of the woman he loves ruthlessly etched across his chest.
After Fabio’s cremation, Emma is seen embracing the urn containing her Papa’s ashes and decides to go to Manila solo while Camila continues the investigations in Las Espadas.
Emma is about to leave when Elias (Joshua Garcia) approached her. Scared to get even more hurt, Emma pleads Elias to leave her alone and then hops inside the car. But to her surprise, Elias suddenly opens the car door and seats beside her. Emma questions Elias’ motive for acting compassionate towards her.
Instead of explaining his pure intentions, Elias asks Emma to give herself a rest. He volunteers to take Fabio’s urn and vows to treat it with importance. He says he would treasure everything that’s important to Emma and decides to accompany her to Manila.
At the columbarium, Fabio’s ashes are laid beside that of his sister’s, Sharon. A flashback shows Sharon introducing Fabio to her fellow inmate, Camila.
Emma wonders how Fabio would probably feel if only he knew that she, the child he adopted, is the daughter of the woman who set the prison on fire and caused his sister’s death.
Elias soothes Emma’s guilt by reminding her that she is not her mother. Sympathy is strongly seen in Elias’ eyes as he stares at a grieving Emma.
