Emma (Janella Salvador) breaks the rules by feeling a sense of genuine sympathy for the dela Torres, the family she is just supposed to manipulate and spy on. First, she expresses regret over Tatiana (Ariella Arida)’s miserable past. Then, she empathizes with Alice (Lara Quigaman) and Luis (Sam Concepcion) who are going through a hard time after the spread of Juan Felipe (James Blanco)’s video scandal.
Emma arrives at their hideout, with traces of frustration on her face. She confronts Camila (Maja Salvador) for exposing Juan Felipe’s sexuality. Emma says that Camila’s course of actions have deeply affected innocent people like Alice, Luis, and Guada (Aurora Sevilla). Besides, they are still yet to dig up solid proofs that Juan Felipe is indeed the culprit behind Javier (Dominic Ochoa)’s death.
Camila raises her voice at Emma, saying she has already grown tired of waiting. Camila would not just stop at nothing and remain silent in the city, hiding like a criminal as what Fabio (Miko Raval) wanted her to do. Camila insists that she is not the villain or else she could have just easily killed the people she suspects to have conspired against her. The real evil-doer, according to Camila, is Tatiana for framing up Emma and Juan Felipe for forcing an innocent man to own up the crime of killing Justino.
Camila recalls the moment when Juan Felipe had almost shot Emma to death, hoping it would feed Emma’s mind with anguish. That, according to Camila, must be enough to erase Emma’s feelings of empathy. Besides, Camila did not plant Emma in the mansion just to end up being weak and soft for the dela Torres.
Camila believes everyone is guilty of something and she would not mind dragging anyone in her desire for revenge.
Still, Emma fails to comprehend Camila’s reasons. She reminds Camila that justice is their holy grail but Camila’s actions only negates their main purpose in Las Espadas. Emma says she would like to back out from their scheme.
Camila grows furious over Emma’s sudden change of heart. She demands Emma to accomplish their plans.
Emma walks out, disheartened and upset. Emma cries as she dials Fabio (Miko Raval)’s number. Leaving a message for Fabio through the voicemail, Emma tries to spill out Camila’s activities in Las Espadas. But, her debt of gratitude and fond memories with Camila stop her from doing so. All she manages to say is she is tired of everything.
