At Dako Pa Roon, Manay Ichu (Malou de Guzman)’s group talks about the news on Juan Felipe’s disappearance. She, then, scolds Emma (Janella Salvador) for her boldness.
Emma explains that she was just scared and trying to spare everyone from danger. But, she regrets that her friends were still dragged in the terrifying circumstances despite her decision to leave for a while. Emma’s voice cracks a little as she expresses her love for her friends. Tsoknat (Pamu Pamorada) and Iking (Pepe Herrera) initiate a group hug. Elias (Joshua Garcia) arrives with a bouquet of roses and lightens up the heartwarming scene; clueless that a more heartbreaking moment is about to happen.
Emma and Elias come out to share a conversation. Elias displays his usual perky side while giving Emma the flowers. He even tries to inject humor even when Emma starts to imply rejection. Elias insists that he would be willing to wait no matter how long it would take.
Pain is evident in Emma’s eyes and voice as she carefully turns down Elias, rubbing in that a romantic relationship between them is hardly possible.
Elias breaks down as he feels the agonizing heartache brought by Emma’s puzzling reasons. He knows that they both feel the same way but Elias can’t comprehend why Emma would always choose to deny the mutual affection between them.
Emma runs out of words and all she manages to say is ‘sorry’. Emma walks out; leaving Elias deeply hurt. Once again, Emma sacrificed her true feelings and happiness for Camila’s sake.
A wall literally separates Emma and Elias as the both cry out all the pain they feel.
The camera displays a panning shot showing Luciano (Cris Villanueva) spying on Emma and Elias.
