In the previous episode, Fabio (Miko Raval) felt the need to cut his business trip to check on his family. Camila (Maja Salvador) found out Fabio’s surprise homecoming so she managed to fetch Emma and come home just in time before Fabio arrives.
Camila acted surprised while Emma displayed genuine happiness seeing her Dad again. Fabio asked Emma about her trip to Buena Tierra. Emma trembled in fear as she looked at Camila, and told lies by saying she was with a former classmate and she simply wanted to join the festival but she knew Camila would disapprove; hence, her decision to leave without asking permission. Fabio calmly bought Emma’s narrative, and even asked Camila to be more lenient.
Believing that things have already been made clear, Fabio decided to leave again for his business trip the next day. Fabio seemed bothered while inside the car. He remained silent when the driver asked for their course, looking as though he was torn between leaving and staying.
This episode highlights the growing closeness between Emma and Elias. While doing her job at Dako Paroon, Emma appears inspired and happy while humming a song, drawing teases from Tsoknat (Pamu Pamorada) and Iking (Pepe Herrera). Manay Ichu (Malou de Guzman) cuts the pleasant exchange of banter as she calls Emma for a visitor.
Shock is written all over Emma’s face as she sees her guest – none other than Fabio.
