In the previous episode, Emma (Janella Salvador) sees an image of a man in the dark walking towards her. To her surprise, it is none other than Elias (Joshua Garcia). She finds Elias’ hands covered in blood but the latter appears elusive when asked about it.
The next day, there are reports about the sightings of two unidentified corpse believed to have been slain by the mystery villain in Las Espadas now dubbed as the ‘killer groom’. Emma becomes anxious upon knowing that the remains was found in an empty street in Purok Oscura, the area where he saw Elias last night.
Moreover, Emma catches Elias in the street where Aurora (Maricel Morales) went to after trying to escape from the bodyguards.
Adhering to her doubts, Emma bravely spies on Elias and finds him going inside a suspicious place, called Baratillo, manned with securities. She roams around to look for Elias but she unfortunately gets caught by a man named Celo. Emma fights back and displays dominance when Celo starts choking her. The violent encounter stops as Elias interferes.
Caught in the situation, Emma admits spying on Elias as she thought of him as the ‘killer groom’. Elias gets mad at Emma and eventually reveals that he might have been acting strange simply because he is looking for his father.
Just like everyone else, Elias believed his father is already dead. But one day, he found a surveillance photo of his father tucked in between his vehicle’s windshield wipers. According to Elias, it was the reason why he went to Purok Oscura and the bloodied fist was due to fighting against a man who provoked him amid his search. He adds that he went to Baratillo to ask help from his father’s acquaintances. And Celo was one of his father’s friends. But no one seems to know his Dad’s whereabouts.
A lot of questions occupy Elias’ mind such as how his father managed to end up still alive. He assumes that his father might be hiding because he committed something wrong.
Meanwhile, the ‘killer groom’ abducts Manay Ichu (Malou de Guzman).
